Senior Technical Architect

About the role

Eggmed is building a next‑generation operating system for behavioral healthcare, combining an AI‑native EHR, revenue cycle management, scheduling, telephony, patient engagement and automation. We are seeking a Senior Technical Architect to own major parts of our backend architecture, infrastructure and deployment pipelines while working closely with the founders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship production features across the platform using Python and Django.
• Own end‑to‑end technical initiatives from design through deployment.
• Build and maintain REST APIs that power web, AI systems and third‑party integrations.
• Improve architecture, scalability, reliability and developer experience.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and AWS deployment automation.
• Manage AWS infrastructure, monitoring, logging and operational reliability.
• Debug complex production issues across infrastructure and application layers.
• Collaborate with product, design and leadership to deliver customer value quickly.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production applications.
• Strong expertise in Python and Django.
• Hands‑on experience operating and scaling production systems on AWS.
• Proven experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical direction.
