Senior Systems Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to own and operate mission‑critical IT systems, ensuring security, scalability and high availability while shaping the company’s long‑term technology strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of servers, networks, storage and cloud environments (Microsoft Azure) and maintain enterprise backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Implement security best practices, conduct vulnerability assessments and manage firewalls, identity management and endpoint protection.
• Lead IT projects such as cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades and automation initiatives, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
• Support the HelpDesk, resolve escalated issues, mentor junior staff and maintain thorough documentation of configurations and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration or network engineering.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system and network issues in a distributed environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a customer‑focused approach.

Required skills

• Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies, PowerShell scripting.
• Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V) and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Enterprise backup, disaster recovery planning and business continuity.
• Network devices – firewalls, routers, switches, VLANs, VPNs.
• Unix/Linux administration, shell scripting, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code tools – Terraform, Ansible.
