Senior SysOps/DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior SysOps/DevOps Engineer to own platform operations for our AWS infrastructure supporting an AI platform that serves institutional clients and runs large‑scale agentic AI workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and operate auto‑scaling compute for batch AI generation pipelines on AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda).
• Own the Kubernetes (EKS) footprint, including vector‑database layer (Qdrant) – capacity planning, upgrades, encryption, performance tuning.
• Design and maintain VPC, NACLs, security groups, VPN/Tailscale access, and drive infrastructure hardening for SOC 2 Type II compliance.
• Plan capacity, design disaster‑recovery, and manage observability (CloudWatch, dashboards, alerting).
• Implement cost‑engineering practices: instance selection, storage tiering, right‑sizing, and cost‑per‑invocation optimization.

Required profile

• 4+ years of SysOps/DevOps/SRE experience with at least 2 years of production AWS platform ownership.
• Deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Production Kubernetes experience, including stateful workloads and upgrades.
• Strong networking fundamentals and security‑first mindset (patching, encryption, least‑privilege).
• Fluent English communication skills.
