Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack & AI

About the role

HARGOS.AI, part of the WELL’D group, is building a cybersecurity SaaS platform that combines automated security testing, AI agents, and actionable vulnerability reports. We are looking for a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer with an applied R&D mindset to take features from design to production, own their reliability, and work closely with the founder and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend services, APIs and React/Next.js interfaces for onboarding, security assessments, execution tracking and reporting.
• Improve asynchronous workflows, including orchestration, cancellation, retries, persistence and resource management.
• Design and evaluate AI agents, focusing on evidence quality, false‑positive reduction, reproducibility, latency and inference cost.
• Strengthen SaaS foundations such as authentication, authorization, tenant isolation, quotas, usage tracking and auditability.
• Diagnose production issues using code, logs and metrics, and verify fixes in live environments.
• Maintain comprehensive tests, CI/CD pipelines, deployment/rollback procedures and clear technical documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping and maintaining production software, with the ability to explain technical decisions and investigate root causes.
• Strong autonomy, sound prioritisation and clear written communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js.
• Experience building modern web interfaces with React and Next.js.
• Solid knowledge of APIs, SQL, testing and asynchronous processing.
• Practical experience integrating AI models or agents.
• Application‑security fundamentals: access control, secrets management and data protection.
