Senior Reliability Engineer – Energy Assets

About the role

RINA is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to join its Operations and Maintenance Engineering Division in Tunisia. The role leads the development and implementation of reliability‑centered maintenance programs and conducts RAM studies for energy infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation and deployment of comprehensive RCM programs, identifying critical assets, failure modes and optimal maintenance strategies.
• Manage technical project documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Conduct reliability, availability and maintainability (RAM) studies using tools such as MAROS and RAMP to evaluate asset performance.
• Develop technical publications, white papers and training materials, and deliver presentations to clients and internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in asset reliability engineering, preferably in the energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of RCM principles and methodologies.
• Excellent project management, communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Reliability‑centered maintenance (RCM) implementation.
• RAM studies using MAROS, RAMP.
• Reading and interpreting PFDs, P&IDs, mechanical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Knowledge of upstream and downstream processes and equipment.
