Senior Product Manager – Machine Learning

About the role

Yassir is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the machine‑learning systems that drive core marketplace decisions such as driver‑trip matching, pricing, fraud detection and credit qualification across ride‑hailing, delivery and financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and size ML opportunities by analysing data, diagnosing value loss and creating a quantified problem backlog.
• Translate business problems into well‑posed ML problems, define targets, labels and error costs, and decide when rules suffice.
• Design, run and interpret controlled experiments, including advanced designs for two‑sided marketplaces.
• Own the full ML product lifecycle: framing, data requirements, baseline, iteration, launch, monitoring, drift detection and retirement.
• Maintain the ML roadmap across domains and countries, balancing accuracy, latency, cost, fairness and regulatory constraints.
• Communicate impact and results to non‑technical leadership and align cross‑functional partners on objectives.

Required profile

• 4+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years leading production ML‑driven products.
• Hands‑on fluency with data – able to write SQL and explore datasets independently.
• Proven experience designing and interpreting controlled experiments and applying causal inference.
• Strong understanding of core ML concepts, evaluation metrics, bias, calibration and offline‑online performance trade‑offs.
• Track record of shipping ML products with clear problem framing, metric selection, experiment design and measurable business impact.
• Experience working with distributed teams across multiple markets; background in marketplaces, mobility, on‑demand delivery or fintech is a plus.
