Senior General Ledger Accountant (Bilingual French/English)

About the role

Free2move’s Shared Services Center in Tunisia is looking for a Senior General Ledger Accountant to own the accounting for one or more legal entities. Reporting to the Group Head of Accounting, you will ensure the accuracy, integrity and compliance of the Group’s financial statements in a fast‑moving, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual closing process for assigned entities, meeting Group deadlines.
• Review, post and reconcile complex journal entries such as provisions, accruals, prepaid expenses, deferred income, payroll, tax provisions, depreciation and other adjustments.
• Coordinate with FP&A and Management Control to guarantee accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
• Support external audits and prepare required documentation.
• Act as a technical reference for junior accountants, resolve complex accounting issues and promote best practices.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred.
• Several years of experience in general ledger accounting within an international or multi‑entity environment.
• Strong analytical mindset, autonomy and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• General Ledger accounting and month‑end close.
• Statutory reporting and external audit coordination.
• Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
• Understanding of tax regulations and provisions.
