Senior General Ledger Accountant (Bilingual French/English)

About the role

Free2move’s Shared Services Center in Tunisia is seeking a Senior General Ledger Accountant to own the accounting function for one or more legal entities. Reporting to the Group Head of Accounting, you will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the Group’s financial statements in a fast‑moving, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes for assigned entities, meeting Group deadlines.
• Review and post complex journal entries such as provisions, accruals, prepaid expenses, deferred income, payroll, tax provisions, depreciation and other adjustments.
• Coordinate with FP&A and Management Control teams to guarantee accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting and tax regulations and support external audits.
• Act as a technical reference for junior accountants, resolve complex accounting issues and promote best practices.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in general ledger accounting within an international or multi‑entity context.
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory reporting.
• Ability to work autonomously, optimise processes and collaborate across functions.
• Fluent in French and English.
