Senior Field Security Associate

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Field Security Associate to support security operations in Tunisia. Reporting to the Chief of Mission and working closely with the Regional Security Officer, the incumbent will help maintain a secure environment for IOM programmes and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS), host‑government agencies and local authorities to obtain up‑to‑date security information.
• Assist the Chief of Mission in collecting, updating and communicating information on the security situation in Tunisia.
• Gather and verify security data required for accurate analysis of the operating environment.
• Develop, implement and update country‑specific security plans, including contingency and emergency response plans, Standard Operating Procedures and inputs to the Business Continuity Plan.
• Participate in Security Risk Management processes and monitor the implementation of recommended security measures.
