Senior Data Scientist

About the role

FORVIA is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join its Global Data Digital Transformation Department in Tunis. You will work within the Business Transformation Studio, delivering AI‑driven solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency and enable smarter automotive mobility experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the collection, storage, processing and analysis of large, structured and unstructured data sets.
• Perform feasibility studies and recommend optimal technical solutions for business users.
• Develop business‑intelligence dashboards and insights from diverse data sources.
• Ensure data quality, prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling, and create ontologies for knowledge management.
• Collaborate with business owners, IT architects and data scientists to translate requirements into technical designs.

Required profile

• Engineer or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 4 + years of experience on industrial‑scale Big Data projects.
• Strong knowledge of Spark, Hadoop and Python.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Dataiku or Palantir (a plus).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and good communication skills in English.
