Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead the company's financial reporting and accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight. This position oversees the preparation of financial statements, audits, and supports senior management with data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
• Manage the general ledger, journal entries, and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
• Conduct regular internal audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Assist in cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting and fixed‑asset depreciation schedules.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, and streamline accounting processes.
• Maintain tax compliance, prepare and file tax returns, and stay updated on regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) preferred.
• 3‑5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls and audit processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with general accounting software and financial reporting tools.
