SAP JIT Consultant

About the role

LEONI is seeking a SAP JIT Consultant to support its automotive wiring systems business. You will act as the expert liaison between customers and the SAP JIT environment, ensuring solutions meet client needs and align with internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and analyse customer requirements for the SAP JIT environment.
• Align customer needs with existing solutions and standards.
• Define functional requirements and create detailed development specifications.
• Manage the SAP JIT service backlog, prioritize change requests and integrate them into release cycles.
• Develop training materials for key users and produce release notes describing new functionalities.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for the WSD SAP JIT service.
• Contribute to projects as the SAP JIT expert, including FLUX, and suggest improvements to the service framework.
• Lead projects using established IT project‑management methodologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with SAP JIT.
• Strong knowledge of production planning processes.
• Advanced English proficiency; German is a plus.
• Excellent communication, persuasive ability and intercultural sensitivity.
• Proven conflict‑resolution skills and ability to drive critical topics.
• Analytical mindset with solid project‑management capabilities.
• Proactive, customer‑oriented and strong consulting attitude.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
