Room Service Order Taker

About the role

The Room Service Order Taker is responsible for taking guest in‑room dining orders via telephone, communicating special requests to the kitchen, and ensuring timely delivery in line with Four Seasons standards. This position requires courteous phone etiquette, accurate order entry, and coordination with room service staff to maintain high food quality.

Key responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls professionally, gather all necessary order information, and describe menu items with vivid details.
• Enter guest orders, including special requests, into the hotel’s point‑of‑sales system and verify accuracy against kitchen output.
• Coordinate with Room Service Servers to deliver orders promptly, ensuring food quality and guest satisfaction.
• Close guest checks accurately, record charges and gratuities, and respond to guest concerns swiftly.

Required profile

• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of food service or related experience.
