Renewables Engineering Project Manager – North Africa

About the role

The Northern Africa Renewables Engineering Project Manager will lead renewable power projects from conception to completion, coordinating client expectations, engineering teams, contractors and subcontractors. The role is based in our Tunis office within the Power Project Management Division.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and resource allocations.
• Serve as the primary liaison with clients, providing regular progress updates and ensuring requirements are met.
• Assemble, assign tasks to and motivate a multidisciplinary project team.
• Monitor project expenses, financial performance and ensure delivery within budget.
• Identify risks, devise mitigation strategies and enforce quality control processes.
• Manage contract terms, ensure compliance with EPC agreements and tender specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on renewable energy projects, including power plant performance definition.
• Proven experience with EPC contracts, client management and vendor relations.
• Experience preparing complex tenders for institutions such as the World Bank, AFD or BERD.
• Professional project‑management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable.
