Remote Sales Representative (Independent Contractor)

About the role

Fixtman is seeking motivated Remote Sales Representatives to join its growing handyman services team. Working as independent contractors, you will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them schedule services, resolve issues, and promote the company’s offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls, book and confirm appointments promptly.
• Provide courteous, solution‑focused customer service and direct callers to appropriate resources.
• Use mapping tools to give accurate directions to service locations.
• Record daily activities in the company ERP system according to established guidelines.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and invoices based on customer needs.
• Maintain organized digital files and follow‑up on pending actions.
• Support the department supervisor with advisory tasks as required.
• Participate in sales seminars and meetings to stay current on market trends.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of related sales or call‑center experience (industry experience preferred).
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and communicate contract and policy details.
• Proficient in basic accounting concepts such as discounts, commissions, and percentages.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Computer literate with solid experience using Microsoft Office.
