RAN Integration Engineer

About the role

Ericsson is seeking a skilled RAN Integration Engineer to support customers across the EMEA region. The role focuses on deploying, integrating, and modernising multi‑technology Radio Access Networks, including 5G, LTE, WCDMA and GSM.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end integration, commissioning and software upgrade activities for RAN technologies.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and fault analysis in multi‑vendor, multi‑technology environments.
• Develop and run automation scripts (Python, Java or similar) to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with planning, optimisation, transport and core network teams to ensure successful roll‑outs.
• Conduct testing, validation and acceptance of newly integrated network elements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in RAN integration and troubleshooting across 5G/4G/3G/2G.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to work in multicultural, cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to travel across EMEA as needed.

Required skills

• Python scripting (or similar language such as Java).
• Experience with Ericsson RAN platforms and software upgrades.
• Knowledge of 5G, LTE, WCDMA, GSM architectures.
• Understanding of IP networking and transport technologies.
