Quality Audit Expert

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Quality Audit Expert to lead internal QM and external audit certifications (QM & SHE) for its production facility in Tunisia. You will ensure compliance with automotive quality standards, safety and environmental regulations, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and follow‑up on the internal audit programme.
• Conduct audits to verify adherence to internal standards, safety and environmental regulations.
• Validate the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions from both internal and external audits.
• Maintain auditor qualifications and manage re‑qualifications according to LEONI and customer requirements.
• Guarantee plant compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and local regulations.
• Identify, present and monitor lessons learned and best practices.
• Develop and deliver training programmes aligned with the global qualification matrix.
• Coach teams on quality tools such as 8D, QRQC, PDCA, QIP, PPAP, AQP, PFMEA and MSA.
• Organise quality contests and ensure sufficient trainer availability.

Required profile

• University degree in a scientific discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Management, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
• Proficient English (C1 level or higher).
