QA Engineer - AI Native

About the role

Storyteller is looking for an AI‑native Quality Engineer to own the quality of its mobile SDKs. You will use AI coding agents to explore code, design automated tests, and diagnose failures, initially focusing on iOS and Android SDKs while contributing across the broader SDK portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage AI coding tools to understand SDK behavior and accelerate test creation.
• Identify high‑value quality improvements based on product, technical, integration and release risk.
• Design, build and maintain unit and component tests for SDK functionality.
• Create integration tests covering SDK interaction with Storyteller services and APIs.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with clear, actionable failure reporting.
• Investigate bugs using code, logs, APIs and test results, and drive fixes to production.
• Collaborate with developers to improve testability and reduce recurring defects.
• Package repeated testing tasks into reusable AI‑driven workflows, tools or checks.

Required profile

• Senior individual contributor with strong experience in quality engineering for mobile SDKs.
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across product and engineering teams.
• Proactive mindset focused on delivering confidence and actionable evidence to the team.

Required skills

• iOS development (Swift/Objective‑C) and Android development (Kotlin/Java).
• Unit testing and component testing of SDKs.
• Integration testing of APIs and services.
• CI/CD pipeline configuration and maintenance.
• Use of AI coding agents or similar AI‑assisted development tools.
• Debugging, log analysis and bug triage.
