Project Purchaser – Harnessing Solutions (Sousse)

About the role

The Project Purchaser – Harnessing Solutions will be responsible for sourcing materials and components for cable and harnessing projects. The role supports product engineering, ensures technical alignment, and drives cost‑effective supplier performance to meet quality, delivery and efficiency targets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide fast technical clarification and manage RFQs, ensuring timely quotations and material availability for production, engineering and sales.
• Source materials that meet technical standards and collaborate closely with engineering teams.
• Expand coverage of customer needs by leveraging a suitable supply base and market intelligence.
• Identify opportunities for new products and solutions.
• Optimize material costs and ensure procurement efficiency.

Required profile

• Technical or commercial degree.
• 3–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in the cables or harnessing industry.
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Fluent English (C1 or higher); German is an advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge of cables, connectors, wiring systems and harnessing solutions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
