Project Purchaser – Harnessing Solutions

About the role

The Project Purchaser – Harnessing Solutions will be responsible for sourcing materials and components for cable and harnessing projects. Working closely with product engineering, the role ensures technical alignment, cost‑effective supplier performance, and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide fast technical clarification and manage RFQs to guarantee timely quotations and material availability for production, engineering, and sales.
• Source materials that meet technical standards and collaborate with engineering teams on specifications.
• Expand coverage of customer needs by leveraging a suitable supply base and market intelligence.
• Identify and introduce opportunities for new products and solutions.
• Optimize material costs and drive procurement efficiency.

Required profile

• Technical or commercial degree.
• 3–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in the cables or harnessing industry.
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of cables, connectors, wiring systems, and harnessing solutions.
• Fluent English (C1 or higher); German is an advantage.

• SAP (mandatory).
