Project Management Office (PMO) Lead

About the role

The Project Management Office (PMO) Lead will drive the definition, optimisation and governance of project management processes across LEONI’s automotive solutions business. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures alignment of methodologies, tools and training with corporate objectives and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, develop and continuously improve project management processes, standards, methodologies and templates.
• Act as the primary liaison between the PMO and IT for project management software, supporting users, coordinating testing and gathering feedback.
• Plan, organise and deliver internal training on project management processes, tools and best practices, and manage external training providers.
• Coordinate project governance activities, including steering committee meetings, gate reviews, kick‑offs and lessons‑learned workshops.
• Track, analyse and report portfolio and departmental KPIs to senior leadership.
• Facilitate global knowledge‑sharing platforms and regular stakeholder feedback cycles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Management, Project Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in a Project Manager, PMO or project governance role.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and standards.

Required skills

• Project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Process documentation and template creation.
• Training design and delivery.
• Governance and KPI reporting.
