Production Technology Engineer

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Production Technology Engineer to implement the LEONI Operating System within its Tunisian production facility. The role focuses on establishing equipment parameters, documenting work instructions, and driving continuous improvement in a fast‑moving automotive wiring environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the LEONI Operating System in the production site.
• Define and document equipment parameters for product changes and new introductions.
• Create local work instructions for machine operation.
• Coach and train the Production Maintenance team on equipment maintenance.
• Support the team in solving critical equipment issues and manage unplanned downtime, capturing lessons learned at the country level.
• Coordinate ordering and commissioning of production equipment with cross‑functional departments.
• Lead improvement initiatives targeting setup time, scrap, and rework.
• Provide input for maintenance plan creation and manage equipment lifecycle, including receipt, installation, release, and tracking.
• Define spare‑parts stock levels for all equipment and applicators.

Required profile

• University degree in a technical field.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Strong communication, intercultural sensitivity, and change‑management abilities.
• Result‑oriented, motivated, resilient, and capable of self‑organization.
• Effective teamwork and conflict‑management skills.

Required skills

• Experience with the LEONI Operating System or similar production management tools.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance processes and spare‑parts management.
