Production Supervisor – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Production Supervisor joins Lear's Operations team to lead daily manufacturing activities. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will ensure safety, quality, productivity and delivery goals are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Estimate costs and prepare budgets for production runs.
• Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
• Monitor production processes and resolve issues promptly.
• Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel.
• Determine required resources, including workforce and raw materials.
• Approve maintenance work and equipment purchases.
• Ensure output meets established quality standards.
• Enforce health and safety precautions on the shop floor.
• Plan production schedules and implement process improvements.
• Prepare regular production reports for management.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, including onboarding, training and performance management.
