Production Planner

About the role

The Production Planner ensures smooth production flow by aligning customer demand with operational capacity. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, the role plans, monitors, and optimizes production activities while maintaining stock and delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer EDI data and resolve demand variations or anomalies.
• Communicate customer demand across departments to ensure capacity alignment.
• Run MRP regularly and validate system outputs for accurate planning.
• Develop and launch production plans across operations, including cutting and sewing.
• Monitor delivery performance and report against production and customer commitments.
• Manage inventory levels for finished goods, WIP, and raw materials in line with logistics policies.
• Coordinate shipments with the warehouse to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Track engineering changes, product phase‑outs, and obsolescence risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in production planning or a similar role.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems for planning and inventory management.
