Production Deputy Manager – Jemmel Site

About the role

We are a leading manufacturing company seeking an experienced Production Deputy Manager to lead our Jemmel site, ensuring safety, quality, productivity and cost targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production teams to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets.
• Coordinate production activities with Quality, Maintenance and other departments.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, costs and production performance, ensuring achievement of production and PPM objectives.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, safety, fire protection and regulatory requirements.
• Manage workforce discipline, attendance, housekeeping and task allocation.
• Prepare and analyse production reports, statistics and performance data.
• Support audits and continuous improvement of production and EHS management systems.
• Lead, train, motivate and develop employees, handling recruitment, leave approvals and workforce planning with HR.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in production management.
• Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
• Fluent in English and French; German is an advantage.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of MES, SQL, SBS, IPST Masq and reporting tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, FMEA, PLP and JIT manufacturing principles.
• Understanding of EHS requirements and environmental policies.
