Product Research and Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly creative, analytical, and proactive individual to lead the Research & Development department for multiple e‑commerce brands operating in Tunisia. The role focuses on discovering winning products, launching rapid market tests, and collaborating closely with Marketing and Confirmation teams to turn strong ideas into scalable successes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily product research across Meta Ads, TikTok, Facebook Shops, Amazon, Shopify, AliExpress, Temu and other platforms to identify high‑potential items.
• Generate detailed research reports that include product links, supplier information, selling angles, competitor examples, cost estimates, margins and market saturation.
• Launch 2‑4 product tests each week, define target audiences, offers and pricing, and monitor performance metrics such as CTR, CPM, CPA, conversion rate and COD confirmation rate.
• Analyze Tunisian customer feedback from social media and competitor pages to build personas, uncover objections and refine messaging.
• Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to develop video concepts, hooks, UGC scenarios, sales scripts and landing‑page copy tailored to the local market.
• Work with the COD confirmation team to improve product positioning and increase confirmation rates based on daily customer conversations.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year proven experience in e‑commerce product research.
• Strong understanding of Meta Ads and TikTok advertising ecosystems.
• Creative thinking combined with an analytical mindset and ability to spot trends quickly.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French; Arabic is a plus.
• Organised, autonomous and able to work independently while coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
