Pricing Science Lead

About the role

Syntaxia seeks a Pricing Science Lead to own end‑to‑end delivery of data‑driven pricing optimization solutions. You will manage workstreams across customer engagements, translating complex data and models into actionable pricing guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Own pricing science workstreams from data exploration through go‑live and hyper‑care.
• Participate in customer workshops to gather requirements and define analytical tasks.
• Design, configure, and validate pricing solutions such as list‑price optimization and negotiation guidance.
• Develop segmentation rules, features, model structures, and objective functions.
• Prepare dashboards and materials for customer‑facing sessions and refine solutions based on feedback.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• At least four years of hands‑on data analytics or data science experience.
• Minimum two years of B2B pricing, revenue management, or commercial analytics experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Python (or comparable language) for data analysis and modeling.
• SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Statistical and machine‑learning methods relevant to pricing (regression, classification, segmentation, constrained optimization).
• Experience implementing pricing or optimization solutions in a SaaS environment.
