Planificateur de Production Senior

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Production Planner to join our automotive‑component manufacturing site in Sousse, Tunisia. Reporting to the Supply Chain / Logistics Manager, you will ensure the balance between customer orders, production capacity and material supply in a tight‑flow, automotive‑certified environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (PDP) aligned with the Industrial and Commercial Plan (PIC / S&OP).
• Analyze line and workstation capacity (labor, tooling, machines) and propose Heijunka smoothing scenarios.
• Run Net Requirements Planning (MRP) in the ERP system, generate and release manufacturing orders to the shop floor.
• Process customer EDI messages (DELJIT, CALL‑OFF, firm and flexible forecasts).
• Monitor daily line progress, adjust plans for technical issues, material delays or demand changes, and optimise inventory levels while avoiding customer stock‑outs.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing projects such as change‑over reduction, Kanban implementation and workshop flow optimisation.
• Act as the key interface between Production, Procurement, Logistics, Quality and Customer Service, tracking KPIs like plan adherence, on‑time delivery and stock turnover.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Bac+5) in Industrial Engineering, Production Management or Supply Chain.
• 4‑6 years of experience as a Production Planner or MPS specialist in an automotive equipment supplier, with knowledge of IATF 16949 standards.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure in a high‑mix, low‑stock environment.

Required skills

• Advanced MRP calculation and planning logic (PDP/PIC).
• Heijunka production smoothing.
• ERP system usage for planning and order release.
• EDI message handling (DELJIT, CALL‑OFF).
• Lean Manufacturing tools (Kanban, change‑over reduction).
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 automotive standards.
