Pipe & Mechanical Fitters – Industrial Dismantling Project in Libya

About the role

We are seeking experienced Pipe Fitters and Mechanical Fitters to join a major industrial dismantling project in Libya. The position is project‑based and full‑time, offering the chance to work on high‑profile refinery and oil‑and‑gas equipment removal.

Key responsibilities

• Dismantle process piping and mechanical equipment.
• Remove valves, flanges and spools safely.
• Prepare equipment for lifting and support lifting operations.
• Read and interpret P&IDs and isometric drawings.
• Install temporary blinds where required.
• Follow Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) and HSE procedures throughout the project.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of industrial piping experience.
• Background in refinery or oil‑and‑gas environments.
• Ability to read isometric drawings.
• Knowledge of hot‑work practices.
• Trade certificate preferred.
• Strong health, safety and environment (HSE) mindset.
