Mobile Engineer (iOS & Android)

About the role

We develop platforms for government and enterprise operations, and the mobile app is the primary touch‑point for field teams and citizens. You will own the app from concept to store listing, delivering reliable experiences on mid‑range devices with intermittent connectivity.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship iOS and Android applications using Flutter, React Native, or native Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose.
• Transform designs into responsive, RTL‑compatible interfaces with Arabic localisation.
• Implement a consistent architecture and state‑management solution (Riverpod, Bloc, Redux, MVVM, etc.).
• Integrate REST APIs, handling authentication, pagination, error handling and AI streaming responses.
• Design offline‑first data persistence with SQLite, Room, Core Data, Drift or Realm and manage conflict resolution.
• Leverage device capabilities such as camera, geolocation, maps, file handling, biometrics and push notifications.
• Profile and optimise performance and battery usage on mid‑range Android hardware.
• Ensure security, data residency, audit trails and accessibility compliance.
• Own end‑to‑end releases, signing, provisioning, and staged rollouts via App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
• Automate builds and distribution using CI tools like fastlane, Codemagic, Xcode Cloud, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience shipping mobile applications.
• Deep expertise in at least one stack: Flutter/Dart, React Native/TypeScript, native iOS/Swift, or native Android/Kotlin.
• Published apps on the App Store or Google Play that you can reference.
• Solid understanding of mobile platform fundamentals (lifecycle, permissions, background execution).
