Metal Supplier Accountant – Accounting Team

About the role

ODDO BHF is seeking a Metal Supplier Accountant to join its Metal Accounting division within the Financial Department in Tunis. You will work closely with colleagues in both Tunis and Paris, supporting the accounting of metal‑related services and transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage service provider invoicing, including entry, payment, and monitoring of invoices.
• Perform monthly accounting controls and reconciliations between accounting records and applications.
• Participate in month‑end closing activities, including tax and customs statements, off‑balance‑sheet items, and provision calculations for logistics costs.
• Reconcile third‑party accounts and determine cash lines at month‑end.
• Enter receipts into the accounting system and frame LME and OTC future deals on a daily basis.
• Monitor metal projects, acting as the privileged IT contact.
• Write and monitor operating procedures related to metal accounting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3‑year program) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with contacts at all levels.
• Critical thinking and ability to synthesize information.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English and French.
• High attention to detail and consistent delivery of quality work.
