Medical Science Liaison – Tunisia

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Tunisia will join Ipsen’s medical department and act as a scientific bridge between the company and the healthcare community. Working in the field, the MSL will provide non‑promotional, evidence‑based information on Ipsen’s marketed products and pipeline, supporting medical and scientific initiatives across therapeutic areas.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and maintain a database of key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs) in relevant disease areas.
• Conduct fair‑balanced scientific exchanges, present data, and respond to unsolicited queries in compliance with local regulations.
• Organise and support scientific meetings, symposia, and educational activities, including satellite symposia at regional congresses.
• Collaborate with internal medical teams to develop and implement the scientific and clinical plan.
• Stay current with scientific literature, attend relevant congresses, and contribute to publication programs when required.
• Ensure all activities adhere to Ipsen SOPs, policies, and applicable national and international laws.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in pharmacy, medicine, or a related life‑science discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in medical affairs, scientific communication, or a similar field within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong network within the Tunisian healthcare community and knowledge of local therapeutic landscapes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently in a field‑based role.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in French and Arabic is advantageous.
