Material Planner

About the role

Forvia is seeking a Material Planner to support its sustainable mobility supply chain. The role focuses on planning, monitoring and optimizing the flow of parts from suppliers to production, ensuring timely delivery and high quality logistics performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the supply program by breaking down and smoothing part deliveries.
• Track the progress of the supply program and manage alerts.
• Monitor pick‑up, receipt and transportation of parts.
• Measure supplier delivery performance (Misdeliveries per Million) and logistics partner service.
• Propose and implement improvement action plans.
• Manage engineering change requests (ECR) and launch new series with methods, procurement and production teams; audit bill of materials.
• Oversee packaging management and maintain logistics conventions with suppliers.
• Calculate monthly stock segmentation and ensure capacity feasibility of the Industrial and Commercial Plan (PIC) at suppliers, applying corrective actions when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BAC+3) in management or related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in material or supply planning.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in French and English.
