Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Autoliv is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead its maintenance team in a high‑performance automotive manufacturing environment. You will ensure equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement while supporting production goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the maintenance team to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Plan, schedule and execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Monitor KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, equipment availability and maintenance costs, driving continuous improvement.
• Coordinate spare‑parts management, resources and maintenance budgets.
• Support production continuity through troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and equipment commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality standards and regulatory audits.
• Promote Lean and APS initiatives to foster operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Electrical, Electromechanical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation maintenance within a manufacturing setting.
• Proven technical leadership experience; automotive manufacturing background preferred.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens STEP 7, TIA Portal, Rockwell, Schneider).
• HMI and SCADA systems.
• Industrial communication networks (Profinet, Ethernet/IP).
• Robotics, vision systems and automated assembly equipment.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance.
• Automotive core tools and quality methodologies (FMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plans).
• Strong problem‑solving, root‑cause analysis and Lean/APS knowledge.
