About the role

The Embassy of Tunisia in France is seeking a full‑time mason to join its on‑site team in Tunis. The successful candidate will carry out construction and renovation tasks, ensuring that all work complies with technical drawings and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces and lay bricks, stones, and prefabricated elements.
• Mix, pour, and finish cement, ensuring smooth and durable surfaces.
• Repair existing structures, restore façades, and address cracks or other defects.
• Collaborate with other trades, organize materials, and maintain a tidy worksite.
• Follow all safety regulations and project specifications.

Required profile

• Professional training in masonry or building trades.
• Proven experience on construction or renovation sites.
• Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to work outdoors and in a team.
• Good knowledge of on‑site safety rules.

Required skills

• General masonry techniques, including material handling and plan interpretation.
• Concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing.
• Bricklaying and wall construction, including joint work and alignment.
• Building renovation and repair, such as crack remediation and façade restoration.
• Stone cutting, setting, and finishing of natural or reconstituted stone.
