Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for safeguarding the property, guests and employees by patrolling all areas, monitoring security systems and responding to incidents. This full‑time position is based at Avenue de la Ligue Arabe in Tunis and requires a proactive approach to safety and loss prevention.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol the entire property and control access to rooms and entrances.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarm and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and lock entrances when required.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, contact EMS and complete incident reports.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons and coordinate with external assistance.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, interview relevant parties and maintain confidentiality.
• Prepare shift summaries, daily activity reports and loss‑prevention documentation.
• Assist guests, including those with disabilities, and ensure a professional appearance.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unaided.
• Physical fitness to run, jog or move quickly in emergency situations.
• Clear communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety training and confidentiality requirements.
