Logistics Manager – Trim Operations

About the role

As the Logistics Manager for trim operations, you will lead the logistics function of a manufacturing plant, ensuring seamless supply chain flow for new project launches and day‑to‑day production. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for transportation, inventory, production planning and customer deliveries while maintaining operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train and manage a high‑performing logistics team.
• Design and execute end‑to‑end logistics strategies for inbound and outbound flows, transportation and warehousing.
• Oversee supplier logistics, cost analysis, system setup and customs compliance for import/export activities.
• Maintain production planning processes, including Master Production Scheduling and material replenishment.
• Manage inventory control, cycle counts and physical inventories across the plant.
• Monitor logistics performance, capacity alignment and on‑time customer deliveries.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to uphold health, safety, environmental and quality standards (IATF, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Required profile

• 5+ years of logistics or supply‑chain leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Background in the automotive sector, preferably in seating, trim or textile production.
• Strong expertise in international trade, transportation management, customs procedures and inventory control.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams within a matrix organization.
• Fluent in French and English with excellent written and verbal communication.
