Local Lean Champion – Continuous Improvement Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Local Lean Champion to drive operational excellence across our Sousse plant. You will lead continuous improvement projects, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and support both local and global objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, lead, and implement Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S, VSM, SMED and other improvement projects.
• Analyze production processes and performance data to uncover waste and optimization opportunities.
• Support production teams with structured problem‑solving methods such as Root Cause Analysis, PDCA and DMAIC.
• Facilitate Kaizen workshops and cross‑functional improvement initiatives.
• Develop, monitor and report KPIs to ensure sustainable performance gains.
• Standardize best practices and promote knowledge transfer across departments.
• Assist digitalization and process‑optimization initiatives where applicable.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Required profile

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in continuous improvement or operational excellence within an industrial or multinational environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and data‑driven decision making.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
• Adaptability to work in a dynamic industrial setting.
