Local Compliance Officer – Production Site

About the role

The Local Compliance Officer ensures that the production site operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies and company standards. Reporting to the Country General Manager, the role acts as the primary compliance contact on site and supports the implementation of global compliance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary compliance contact for the production site and support the rollout of corporate compliance policies.
• Monitor compliance risks, assist in mitigation actions and coordinate incident handling with Global/Regional Compliance.
• Coordinate and track completion of mandatory compliance trainings, ensuring proper documentation.
• Support internal and external audits, providing required documentation and following up on corrective actions.
• Collaborate with site management, HR, Quality, EHS and other functions to embed compliance into daily operations.
• Maintain communication with employee representatives and assist the Global Compliance Team on initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Law, Compliance, Business Administration, Health Sciences or related field.
• Professional experience in compliance, legal, audit or regulatory affairs, preferably in healthcare or pharmaceuticals.
• Solid understanding of compliance principles in an industrial or regulated environment.
• Strong communication skills, integrity, discretion and sound judgement.
• Fluency in the local language and English.
