Learning and Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a strategic, people‑focused Learning and Development Manager to lead our remote employee growth initiatives. In this fully remote position you will design, deliver and evaluate training programs that close skill gaps and foster a culture of continuous learning across our global workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with C‑level executives and department heads to identify organizational and individual skill gaps and align L&D initiatives with business goals.
• Create engaging training curriculum, including e‑learning modules, virtual workshops, and micro‑learning content for a distributed workforce.
• Lead and continuously improve the remote onboarding program to ensure new hires feel welcomed, equipped, and integrated.
• Oversee the Learning Management System, ensuring courses are accessible, intuitive, and properly tracked.
• Forecast, monitor, and optimise the annual L&D budget while negotiating contracts with external training vendors.
• Analyse metrics, conduct skills audits, and measure ROI on training initiatives, using learner feedback for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with managers and HR to develop leadership training and career‑pathing frameworks that promote internal talent retention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, with at least 2 years in a remote or distributed environment.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theories, blended learning strategies, and instructional design principles.
• Proven ability to manage, coach, and evaluate teams virtually.
• Excellent written, verbal, and virtual presentation skills.

Required skills

• Experience with Learning Management Systems such as Docebo, Canvas, or Absorb.
• Proficiency in e‑learning authoring tools like Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
