Junior Project Monitoring Assistant (UNV)

About the role

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Tunisia is seeking a motivated Junior Project Monitoring Assistant to support the delivery and monitoring of its green industrialization and sustainable development portfolio. This National UN Youth Volunteer position offers hands‑on experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting for projects that empower youth, women, and the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and verify project data and results.
• Update monitoring tools, databases, dashboards, and tracking systems.
• Track implementation progress against work plans and deadlines.
• Assist in data analysis and create tables, charts, and visual presentations.
• Support the use of digital and AI‑based tools to improve monitoring and reporting.
• Contribute to reports, briefing notes, presentations, and knowledge products.
• Document achievements, lessons learned, and best practices.
• Manage information archiving, dissemination, and coordinate meetings, workshops, and field visits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in development studies, economics, social sciences, public policy, gender studies, or related field.
• Up to one year of relevant experience in project support, sustainable or industrial development.
• Knowledge of project monitoring, data collection, reporting, or results‑based management.
• Native Arabic speaker with fluency in French and English.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities.
