IT SAP CO Consultant

About the role

You will take ownership of IT‑supported controlling sub‑processes and translate business requirements into robust, scalable SAP solutions. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders to continuously improve and standardise controlling processes across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop IT‑supported business sub‑processes based on the DRX process map, focusing on SAP Controlling (CO‑OM, CO‑PA, CO‑PC, PS).
• Evaluate, select, and define implementation approaches for complex process requirements.
• Act as the process interface between business stakeholders and software development teams.
• Drive process standardisation and continuous improvement across the DRÄXLMAIER Group.
• Consult internal customers on the development and optimisation of controlling processes.
• Create functional and requirements specifications for IT‑supported business processes.
• Define and execute black‑box test scenarios, supporting roll‑outs and global launches.
• Ensure process supervision and quality within SAP Controlling applications.
• Support users through trainings, documentation, and day‑to‑day consulting.
• Coordinate work packages within IT service requests and international IT projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience with SAP PS, CO‑PA, CO‑PC, and CO‑OM.
• Good knowledge of controlling processes, including requirements management, business blueprints, trainings, and roll‑outs.
• Hands‑on experience in SAP customisation, master data management, and configuration.
• Strong understanding of SAP module integration and workflow scenarios.
• Experience with SAP integration into FI, PP, and MM is a plus.
• Structured, solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to analyse complex situations.
• Very good English skills; German is an advantage.
