IT Operations Senior Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an IT Operations Senior Specialist to drive digitalisation, automation and data‑driven solutions at the site level. The role supports approved build initiatives, IT transformation projects and delivers practical automation aligned with global standards and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to automation and digitalisation initiatives within approved projects, collaborating with Digital Champions and global teams.
• Act as a local IT build resource for digitalisation projects, delivering scripts, integrations, dashboards and tools.
• Provide infrastructure and operations support for endpoints, servers and basic network components, including lifecycle management, patching and configuration.
• Deliver daily support for production and test environments, handling moderate‑to‑complex incidents and improving user experience through automation.
• Ensure all solutions comply with security, data privacy, SOX, IATF, TISAX and internal IT policies, applying secure coding practices and supporting audit evidence preparation.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in IT operations, automation and scripting.
• Strong understanding of IT service processes (incident, change, problem management).
• Ability to translate operational needs into technical solutions within structured project governance.
• Experience working in manufacturing or industrial IT environments and awareness of IT/OT interfaces.

Required skills

• Automation and scripting languages: PowerShell, Python, Bash.
• Low‑code/automation platforms: Power Automate, PowerApps, RPA.
• Industrial visualization platform: Ignition.
• Exposure to AI‑enabled tools (Microsoft Copilot, AI‑assisted automation, predictive monitoring, basic machine‑learning concepts).
• Data handling and analytics: logs, CSV/SQL sources, APIs, reporting and dashboard creation.
• Server environments: Windows, Linux, virtualization concepts.
• Knowledge of security, data‑privacy and compliance standards.
