IT Operations Senior Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an IT Operations Senior Specialist to drive digitalisation, automation and data‑driven solutions at the site level. The role supports existing run and support capabilities while contributing to approved build projects, IT transformation initiatives and practical automation aligned with global standards and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to automation and digitalisation initiatives within approved projects, collaborating with Digital Champions and global teams to reuse and roll out standardised solutions.
• Act as a local IT build resource for digitalisation projects, delivering scripts, integrations, dashboards and tools that automate repetitive IT tasks, data collection, monitoring and reporting.
• Provide infrastructure and operations support for endpoints, servers and basic network components, including lifecycle management, patching and configuration.
• Deliver daily production and OACE environment support, handling moderate‑to‑complex incidents and improving user experience through automation.
• Ensure all solutions comply with security, data‑privacy, SOX, IATF, TISAX and internal IT policies, applying secure coding practices and supporting audit evidence preparation.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of hands‑on IT operations experience with a strong focus on automation.
• Proven ability to translate operational or business requirements into technical solutions within structured project governance.
• Experience working in manufacturing or industrial IT environments and familiarity with IT/OT interfaces.
• Strong documentation, troubleshooting and collaboration skills.

• Automation and scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ignition.
• Low‑code/automation platforms: Power Automate, PowerApps, RPA.
• AI‑enabled tools: Microsoft Copilot, AI‑assisted automation, predictive monitoring, basic machine‑learning concepts.
• Data handling and analytics: log analysis, CSV/SQL sources, APIs, reporting, dashboards.
• Server environments: Windows, Linux, virtualization concepts.
• Industrial/visualisation platforms: Ignition.
• IT/OT interface awareness.
