IT Network Support Engineer (Dispatch)

About the role

We are looking for a Network Support Engineer to provide first and second‑level assistance for our network infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining equipment, and supporting daily network operations to ensure reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first and second‑level support for network incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing issues.
• Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance and respond to alerts or outages.
• Maintain ticket updates and documentation for all incidents.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams to resolve complex problems.
• Assist with network maintenance, upgrades, and implementation projects.
• Communicate status and resolution of issues in a timely manner.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in network support or a similar role.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with Cisco or comparable networking equipment.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server environments and Active Directory is an advantage.
