International Buyer

About the role

The Tunisian subsidiary of the Thuasne Group, an international leader in medical devices and orthopedic solutions, is looking for an International Buyer to strengthen its procurement team. The buyer sources, negotiates and manages international supplier relationships, ensuring cost optimization, quality compliance and on-time delivery in line with Group standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and select international suppliers in line with company strategy
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and commercial terms
• Manage supplier performance on cost, quality, delivery and compliance
• Conduct market analysis and benchmark suppliers
• Collaborate with supply chain, production, quality and finance teams
• Ensure procurement complies with Group policies and anticipate risks to secure supply continuity
• Lead cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business or Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in international purchasing, preferably in an industrial or medical devices environment
• Fluent English and French (written and spoken)
• Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment
