International Buyer (English & French)

About the role

The International Buyer will identify, evaluate and purchase surplus and overstock goods from suppliers worldwide, ensuring competitive pricing and alignment with market requirements for European resale.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and contact international suppliers to secure stock opportunities.
• Negotiate purchase terms and contracts in English and French.
• Analyze product offers, pricing and market trends.
• Monitor demand in European markets and coordinate with logistics and sales teams.
• Maintain relationships with cross‑border suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong purchasing and negotiation skills with international buying experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English and French.
• Ability to analyze offers, pricing and market trends with commercial judgment.
• Comfort working with multicultural teams and cross‑border suppliers.
• Organized, results‑oriented and able to manage multiple negotiations.
• Previous experience in wholesale, retail buying, import/export or surplus markets is a plus.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain or related field preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in standard office software and digital communication tools.
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems is beneficial.
