Industrial Engineering Team Leader

About the role

Autoliv is seeking an Industrial Engineering Team Leader to drive performance and safety standards across its manufacturing operations. You will lead the implementation of plant policies, monitor key metrics, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Plant Policy Deployment and daily SQDCM activities to meet operational goals.
• Develop, monitor, and report KPIs, budgets, and process performance.
• Oversee process development, industrialization, and feasibility studies for new products and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environment, health & safety, information security, and industry standards.
• Standardize manufacturing processes, work methods, and documentation across sites.
• Manage production flow, capacity planning, line balancing, machine acceptance, and process readiness.
• Provide technical leadership, training, and coaching for the Industrial Engineering team.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement, risk management, benchmarking, and audit representation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or process engineering.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Strong organizational and decision‑making capabilities.

• Technical drawing interpretation.
• Machine automation and manufacturing processes.
• FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
• SPC (Statistical Process Control).
• MSA (Measurement System Analysis).
• Control plan development and implementation.
• Automotive process standards and manufacturing standards.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Continuous improvement and problem‑solving methodologies.
