Industrial Engineer – Project Management & Engineering Changes

About the role

As an Industrial Engineer at Aptiv, you will lead project management for engineering changes and annual model updates, ensuring timely delivery and coordination across internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Set the Engineering Level with SC for each project phase.
• Implement and monitor engineering changes.
• Plan engineering change introductions and coordinate with internal and external parties.
• Develop and monitor change files according to defined standards.
• Maintain up‑to‑date material and time calculation files in SAP, performing periodic verification and applying 5‑Why analysis when deviations occur.
• Define investment requirements for engineering changes and new models, and monitor budgets.
• Define and update wire and tube lengths for cabling.
• Edit splice configuration documents.
• Ensure internal control of technical documentation.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Good verbal and written English.
