Indirect Purchasing Buyer

About the role

The Indirect Purchasing Buyer is responsible for managing supplier relationships for non‑production categories, ensuring compliance with quality, cost and delivery (QCD) targets, and supporting the organization’s procurement strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor QCD supplier performance within the assigned perimeter and ensure alignment with group compliance and ethical standards.
• Propose and implement productivity actions in collaboration with the segment organization.
• Maintain the supplier panel and keep supplier information up‑to‑date in PuMa and SAP.
• Conduct RFQs, negotiate contracts, and manage the ordering process through the e‑procurement system.
• Utilise e‑auctions extensively to achieve best value.
• Resolve daily operational issues for internal customers and coordinate escalations with the NPP network.
• Support dematerialisation initiatives and develop online catalog usage where appropriate.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of compliance and ethical procurement rules.
• Ability to work with internal stakeholders and manage supplier relationships.
• Experience in handling RFQ, negotiation and ordering processes.

Required skills

• SAP procurement module.
• PuMa system usage.
• E‑procurement platforms and e‑auction tools.
• Online catalog management.
